To
accurately portray, and honor the Officers &
Men of the 507th Parachute Infantry Regiment
- “Down to Earth.”
We have chosen specifically the paratroopers
of the 2nd Battalion 507th PIR as their
legacy has been overlooked by all but a few
true historians. Although the unit trained
at the famous Camp Taccoa, Georgia alongside
the world-renowned “Band of Brothers” they
have never shared the limelight. It is our
goal that their story is not lost forever.
While the majority of our membership is both
prior service and active duty military,
service in the armed forces is not a
requirement to join us. We strive to share
our passion for history, and convey the
experiences of the WWII airborne soldier to
the public. We participate in living history
displays, air shows, parades, and school
programs. Our dedication is second to none,
and the commitment of our membership is
beyond compare. We bring a unique cohesion,
and honor to living history that only
Veterans can provide.
